Jin Pu Village Amis people combine tribal life & culture to develop ecotourism

   
Located in Hualien’s Fengbin Township, Jin Pu Village has recently been promoting ecotourism. The organizer, Jing Pu Development Association (靜浦村發展協會), hopes that an itinerary put together by people from the tribe can give tourists a glimpse of real tribal life and introduce the local ecology on the banks of Jin Pu’s Xiuguluan River estuary.

However, with countless difficulties surfacing during the course of transforming to ecotourism, continual dialog has been required between the villagers and development association in adjusting the ecotourism itinerary; hopefully all the hard work will bring life and transformation to the village.

Members of the development association reflected long and hard on which actions would best help the village before communicating their thoughts. By retaining autonomy in tourism management, hopefully a way can be carved out to bring vitality back into the village.

阿美族靜浦部落結合原民生活文化發展生態旅遊

位於花蓮縣豐濱鄉的靜浦部落近期推出生態旅遊，主辦單位靜浦村發展協會希望由部落族人規劃的行程，能使遊客認識部落生活，且介紹位於秀姑巒溪出海口旁的靜浦生態，然而從一般旅遊轉型為生態旅遊的過程中面臨許多困難，協會至今也不斷地與部落居民對話、調整旅遊內容，期望帶給部落活力與轉變。協會們的成員透過不斷地省思如何做，才對部落具有幫助，與族人進行溝通，保留經營旅遊上的自主性，期望能開出一條為部落帶來活力的路。
