5/27戴文達鎮長在關山鎮公所三樓主持關山生活圈道路系統第二次說明會，其中位於道路拓寬用地上的76年木造老旅社「嘉賓旅社」成為大家發言的重點，在用地取得計畫第二次說明會上，現場民眾一面倒的全部支持保留老旅社。
