Masked physical education teacher cleans the mountain

This year, a masked hero began roaming Xianjiyan Hiking Trail (仙跡岩親山步道) in Taipei City’s Wenshan District. The masked hero, a physical education teacher known to his students as Arnold (referring to Arnold Schwarzenegger), places great emphasis on environmental and moral education. Teaching students to do one good deed each day, practice what one preaches and serve as a model to others, ‘Arnold’ spends his weekends roaming the local mountains picking up litter. 

With regards to wearing a mask, Arnold said that in addition to protecting against dirt and insect bites, with so many thorny bushes around, the mask also helps him avoid any face injuries. Numerous passing climbers confirmed the good deeds of Arnold, a man who believes that setting an example will ultimately influence the hearts of other Taiwanese people. Arnold also teaches his students to care for the environment and refrain from littering, and hopes that through joint maintenance of the environment, we can help to make this piece of land a more beautiful place to live.

臺北市文山區的仙跡岩親山步道，今年開始有位蒙面俠出沒，這位蒙面俠是位體育老師，學生都叫他阿諾。他非常注重環境教育和品德教育。他教導學生要日行一善，為了身體力行、以身作則，他利用休假日，蒙面淨山。

阿諾說他蒙面的原因是保護頭臉、因為在山區很容易被植物刺傷，另外也可以預防髒汙與蚊蟲叮咬。山友紛紛肯定阿諾老師的義行，阿諾也想要用行動力，影響更多臺灣人的心，同時也教育他的學生要愛護環境，從不亂丟垃圾開始，希望由大家共同維護，讓我們居住的這塊土地越來越美麗。
