‘Your Shoot’ visits Hope Market in Taichung 

PeoPo’s ‘Your Shoot’ events lead citizen journalists throughout the length and breadth of Taiwan to report on touching issues that matter. 

The 9/13 ‘Your Shoot’ event was held at ‘Hope Market (合樸農學市集)’ in Taichung’s Xitun District, which hopes to restore a natural way of living through people cooperation and simple living. Echoing the initiatives hope that through mutual exchange, cooperation and simple living we can reestablish the intimate connection between each other as people, and with the land, the Chinese characters that make up the market name are homophonous with the English word ‘hope.’ The initiative believes that through making choices about the food and drink we consume, we can radically change our lives and our environment.  

The dozens of citizen journalists that participated in the event used the camera lens to record various stories from the market visit, and personally experience the warm exchanges between small farmers – reports from the event will be slowly published on the PeoPo platform. 台中踹拍 合樸農學市集

PeoPo踹拍活動，帶領公民記者一起到台灣各地發掘值得報導的議題，看見感動的故事。9/13的踹拍活動，在台中西屯的「合樸農學市集」舉辦，「合樸」的涵義是「透過眾人的合作與簡樸」找回自然生活。「合樸」的諧音也正好近似英文的HOPE，希望看見農夫、志工與消費者之間，如何透過彼此互助，在合作、簡樸的生活實踐中，找回人與人、人與土地之間的親密連結，也透過飲食的選擇，改變生活也改變環境。

而參加活動的數十位公民記者，也用鏡頭記錄市集的大小故事，親身體驗與小農互動交流的溫暖，之後公民記者也陸續在PeoPo平台上發表相關報導。這是今年PeoPo舉辦的第五場踹拍活動，也歡迎公民記者上網瀏覽各場踹拍活動的精華。
