Far away from the hustle and bustle – Onward to the forgotten rural areas

Working relentlessly with people from the lowest rung in society, Taichung New Immigrant Care Association is a marginal organization that takes care of the weak and vulnerable. On the eve of Children’s Day, staff members prepared various goods and school stationary etc., and visited the mountainous area of Aowanda in Ren’ai Township, Nantou County to celebrate the festival with the children. Through the association’s goodwill, much-needed supplies were provided for countless single-parent families and children raised by their grandparents.

台中新移民關懷協會是一個關懷弱勢、邊緣族群的社團組織，他們始終在城市底層默默工作從不間斷，這次在兒童節前夕，工作人員備妥兩車的物資與學童文具等，來到南投縣仁愛鄉奧萬大山區山，提前陪小朋友歡度今年的兒童節，並且也為許多的單親及隔代教養的家庭送上物資，表示關懷之意。
