PeoPo’s Taoyuan ‘Your Shoot’ explores Fan-jiang traditional house

PeoPo2013’s last ‘Your Shoot’ stop of the year caught a ride on Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman’s Rubber Duck, arriving together with citizen journalists in Xinwu Township, Taoyuan County. The activity got underway with a tour of a Fan-jiang traditional house, a Grade 3 historic building with over 300 years of history. Though the building lacks the opulence of former times, it is rich in the simplicity and charm of an old house. This house is the origin of the town, and the CJs who had gathered for this last ‘Your Shoot’ of the year, were able to feel the rich history of the area. Through the lens, CJs began recording Xinwu Township’s, a simply place brimming with culture and tradition.

PeoPo2013年的最後一場踹拍，搭上黃色小鴨的順風車，與公民記者來到桃園縣的新屋鄉，進行一場范姜老屋的文化探尋。被列為三級古蹟的范姜古屋已經有300多年的歷史，少了昔日的富麗，卻多了屬於老屋的古樸。這裡是新屋鄉的起源，公民記者聚會踹拍，一同感受先民的歷史，用鏡頭記錄新屋豐碩的文化傳統。
