PeoPo Chiayi ‘Your Shoot

PeoPo’s Chiayi leg of the ‘Your Shoot’ activity was held on September 28 at Anjing Village, Meishan Township. A century ago, Anjing was a place brimming with Beiguan music and traditional bamboo artisans making houses, chairs and utensils, as well as an area populated by numerous stonemasons.

However, the rise of industry and commerce not only brought economic development, it also directly impacted the population and economic structure of the region, resulting in the loss of countless traditional arts.

With a great deal of assistance and planning from CJ Bo-ru,Chen, at this ‘Your Shoot’ activity, participating CJs were divided into 4 groups and instructed to immerse themselves in Anjing community. Through the lens, they set about unearthing cultural and artistic gems of the community kept hidden for a century. Included in the CJ reports were ballads accompanying the moon guitar, orchid experts, bamboo chair craftsmen, celebrated calligraphy artists, the manufacture of traditional bridal sedan chairs, trail explorations and facial threading therapists. Interviews were conducted by traveling around the area in small pick-up trucks provided by the locals, providing CJs with an unforgettable experience.

PeoPo嘉義踹拍 看見安靖特色文化

PeoPo踹拍的嘉義場在9月28日來到梅山鄉的安靖村，百年前這裡盡是北管樂、竹管厝、竹椅、竹器、石匠師傅的主要聚居地，然而工商社會帶來的經濟發展，也直接衝撞山城的人口與經濟結構，許多傳統技藝面臨傳承無門的窘境。

透過這次的踹拍活動，由公民記者公義使者的協助規劃，特地將參與的公民記者分成4組，深入百年社區，用鏡頭探訪挖掘安靖社區蘊藏百年的人文與藝術。各組拍攝的內容包括月琴說唱、蘭花達人、竹椅師傅、書法名家、花轎製作、古道探查、挽面師傅等內容，公民記者搭乘鄉親支援的小貨車到各地點進行採訪，都是難得的經驗。
