1922年台南縣北門鄉南鯤鯓代天府五府千歲，曾渡海巡狩澎湖
鯤鯓代天府與澎湖各宮廟一向情誼深厚，1923年代天府原址改建
澎湖信徒不畏風浪，利用漁船搬運咾咕石，並捐獻石柱、石堵
共襄盛舉，從此兩地建立深厚情誼
睽違八十六年後，南鯤鯓代天府五府千歲代天巡狩再度出巡澎湖
.台灣所有神轎、陣頭、隨香信眾，搭乘台華輪等五艘客輪啟航澎湖
澎湖也出動漁船150艘齊聚在馬公港外海迎駕
.而護駕的台灣宮廟多達二十一間，澎湖也有二十六間廟宇加入
信徒接近三千人，以「入庄步行，出庄車行」的方式，南巡北狩
走遍澎湖本島的大街小巷5天，堪稱澎湖歷年來宗教活動空前的盛舉
