Alishan tour groups must make reservations

The large number of visitors to Alishan National Forest Recreation Area has created problems in relationship to transport, the surrounding environment and the quality of tours. From March 1st of this year, the park will implement a daily maximum restriction of 6,000 organizations tourists, all of who will be required to first make a reservation for admission.

Chiayi Forest District Office said from March 1st 2013, Alishan National Forest Recreation Area will limit daily park applications to 6000; cars and coaches entering the park will need the tour guide or group leader to make the reservation, and every car or coach is required to obtain an application number. On the day of entry, reservation forms and personal identity documents will be required by the inspection officers before tickets will be given for entry.

阿里山國家森林遊樂區為減緩每日大量人車對園區及其周遭帶來之交通、環境及旅遊品質衝擊，將自今年3月1日起實施每日開放6,000名團體遊客預約入園新措施，3月1日起正式實施預約申請，團體遊客均應事先申請始得入園。

嘉義林管處表示，自102年3月1日起，阿里山國家森林遊樂區每日開放6,000人次團客申請入園，乘坐甲類或乙類大客車進入阿里山國家森林遊樂區之團體，需由導遊或領隊在預約系統預約申請，以車為單位，每車均須取得申請單號，入園當日均需攜帶預約申請單及個人身分證明文件至遊樂區售票口供查驗並購票入園。
